Everything Else

International CES Jan 10-13th

Ok, it’s every tech blogger’s dream to eventually be important enough to cover CES.  Since I’m nowhere near, I get to scour the internet and rip off other people’s coverage!  I will admit though, covering CES would be a great goal to set, but it seems every year except for 1 or 2 things that actually make it out of CES the rest is just utter nonsense or an attempt to raise money for some utter nonsense.  So yes, you’ll see the OLED T.V’s but will you see some of these nonsensical things,

A ball you control with your Apple or Android device for $129!

The non holographic ipad or whatever product for $5000

A wireless pool speaker ball

Want to spy on  your neighbour while they do their laundry?

Super cool but Super useless bike!

Everything is cool and I’m sure I would have had a ton of fun playing with it all, but it’s almost turned into a flea market.  Well check that, its stuff that you will eventually find in a flea market.  (yes this works much better! lol) And hopefully with the prices to match!

There are tons of new things that are being introduced, and since today is the last day, look forward to my post about the best (hopefully plural) things to come out of the event that should be in stores later on this year. (or never).  Remember the whole point of consumer electronics is to get the product in the hands of the consumer!

About Raj Randev

I like to use technology to help me waste time, if by chance it helps with anything useful, that was just dumb luck!
